2Q Driver Training and Basic Pump Operator Combination Class
Bethany Fire Department

Orange, Connecticut
Cost: $500 per student. The cost of this class includes all program and certification fees. Upon successful completion of our program, attendees will receive a certificate for Basic Pump Operator, and will be elgibile to take the practical test for their Q endorsement. STUDENTS MUST ATTEND ALL SESSIONS TO RECEIVE A CERTIFICATE AND BE ELIGIBLE FOR TESTING FOR THEIR CLASS D, Q ENDORSEMENT!
This class will be held on the following dates:
Sunday, August 12 (8:00 am t 4:00 pm)
Wednesday, August 15 (7:00 pm to 10:00 pm)
Sunday, August 19 (8:00 am to 4:00 pm)
Wednesday, August 22 (7:00 pm to 10:00 pm)
Sunday, August 26 (8:00 am to 4:00 pm)
Wednesday, August 29 (7:00 pm to 10:00 pm)
Wednesday, September 5 (87:00 pm to 10:00 pm)
Sunday, August 9 (8:00 am to 4:00 pm)
TESTING ON September 23 (Additional testing day on September 22 if needed). Students only need to attend one (1) testing session. Applications will be accepted until a maximum of sixteen (16) applications are received.
Applicants must be sworn members of a fire department, and shall be at least eighteen (18) years old by the night of the first class, and a current valid driver's license issued by any State authority. Training authorizations forms downloaded from our online application page must be completed and signed by the Chief or Training Officer and returned with payment on the first night of class.

Firefighter II Training Program

Cost: $850 per student for Valley Emergency Plan member town applicants. The cost of this class includes all program and certification fees. The cost of the required Jones and Bartlett Fundamentals of Firefighting, Third Edition is NOT included in the cost of the course. Said book can be purchased from the Valley Fire School at cost.
This class will be held Wednesday evenings and Sunday days beginning on Wednesday, September 5, 2018.
Applications will be accepted until a maximum of twenty-five (25) applications are received.
Applicants must be sworn members of a fire department, and shall provide documentation proving successful completion of a State of Connecticut Firefighter I program, or that the have been an active member with their department on or before July 1, 1977. Training authorizations forms downloaded from our online application page must be completed and signed by the Chief or Training Officer and returned with payment on or before the first night of class.
